Becky’s Kids is a nonprofit with the mission of bringing love, support, and encouragement to Arkansas teens in foster care and those transitioning out of care into young adulthood. Our desire is to bring communities together to walk alongside these youth celebrating their strengths, encouraging them in areas of weakness, and loving them through it all.
The reality for many teens in care is knowing their parent’s parental rights have been terminated, and seeing all too often, other adult figures and caretakers hesitant to become involved. Yet, these teens are in desperate need for people to come forward who will believe in and be there for them. Be a smile in the audience on their graduation day or a voice cheering as they run onto the sports field. Like any teen, they too want a place to go on holidays and to know there is someone in this great big world that sees them as worthy of loving.
Giving these teens hope, acceptance, and time is truly a gift beyond measure. There are so many meaningful ways for you and your community to volunteer. Will you join us in being an inspiration? Together we will make a difference!
